PRIVATE HIRE

The Mess Room has recently expanded,  and  now have two great spaces which can be interlinked, or serve as separate areas,  The Mess Room Bar and The  Mess Room Live Lounge, affectionally known as 'Big Mess' and 'Little Mess'.  

The new, larger space, 'The Big M
ess'' is available for private hire for a limited number of dates throughout the year, It  has the feel of a cosy jazz bar, has its own stage and full PA system, bar and external door, It holds up to  100 people, however we'd recommend a maximum of around 85 people if you want a mix of seating and standing and room to have a boogie! Please be aware that children are not permitted after 7pm.

The original  Mess Room (Little Mess)  and outside area are only available for private hire when we are not open to the public.

Feel free to drop us a message or call into the bar if you are interested in holding your event at The Mess Room. Whether it be a birthday, anniversary, Christmas party, corporate event, music gig, album launch or whatever...we'll do our very best to make sure your event is fabulous!

 

Further Info

A deposit of £200 pounds is required to secure your booking. Any booking is provisional until the deposit is received. No later than 6 days before the event, a holding deposit of the minimum spend will be required.

Minimum spend/charge applies for private hire.

Lowest charge/minimum spend Monday - Thursday, highest charge Friday & Saturday night.

e, to hire 'The Big Mess' from 8pm - 12:30 at the weekend, the minimum bar spend is approx £2000. (Seasonal variations apply).

We do not currently provide catering but are happy for outside catering to be brought in for your event.

Should you wish to have music or entertainment, we can recommend and advise if required.
