FAQ & USEFUL INFO

How to find us - we are situated a couple of minutes walk from  the High Street, by the picturesque canal.  We  are just off Coach Street by two town centre car parks. If coming by train, we are a 5 minute walk away. Walk along Broughton Road, turn left at Bizzy Lizzie's/Dominoes and we are just over the bridge on the left. We are also 5 minutes walk away from the main bus station.  If you have a campervan, then you can stay on the car park for a fiver a night, and literally be 1 min walk away from your bed.

Local Area -Skipton is a fabulous town to visit and is also the gateway to the gorgeous Dales. Immense history, a rich culture, independent shops, food and drink places galore, stunning countryside, and perhaps, best of all, friendly, welcoming, proud and passionate Yorkshire folk!

Children - we are child friendly, but ask that children leave the premises by 7pm please and are seated and supervised at all times.

Dogs - we love dogs and are happy for them to accompany you in the bar, however, unless you have a seat and they are the size which can fit in a handbag, we don't allow dogs during busy periods or when we have live music on. We wouldn't want tiny paws trampled on!

Drinks - No we don't sell Carlsberg or Carling! We like to offer something a little different and give our customers new taste sensations. Where possible we always support small, independent breweries and companies and always use fresh ingredients for our cocktails. We currently have 8 craft keg and four real ales, most rotate, however do have North Sputnik and Pils, and Strange Times Lorelei Lager as permanent lines.

Music - currently we have live music every Sunday at around 6.30pm and during the warmer months outside in our garden/courtyard. From January, live music will mainly take place in our Live Lounge, with a mixture of free, small entrance charge and ticketed events available. We love music, and even when live music isn't on, you can always guaranteed great music to be playing on our playlist.

Food - we don't currently offer food, but are happy for you to grab a pizza or similar and eat it outside in our covered and heated garden area. Just be sure to dispose of your rubbish please in the public bin on the car park.

Wifi - sorry, we don't generally give out our wifi password, we want people to be social!

Travel Links - we are 5 minutes walk away from both the train and bus stations, (direct from Leeds and Bradford) and are situated adjacent to two town centre car parks which are free after 6pm. If you have a campervan, then you can stay on the car park for a fiver a night, and literally be 1 min walk away from your bed.
