WELCOME TO THE MESS ROOM

We are an award winning, independent, music loving bar and events space, serving an ever-changing line up of craft beer, real ale, spirits and cocktails. A touch of bohemia, music and arts is found at The Mess Room, located in a beautiful Grade II listed building in the canal quarter of Skipton.

Our new Live Lounge, affectionately known as the 'Big Mess' is now open. This is an extension to the current Mess Room which now encompasses a small craft beer bar, a bigger bar in the live lounge and events space, and also a walled beer garden.
We have a wide range of music and events programmed, many of which sell out, fast! Artists to have played the Mess Room include grammy award winning guitar legend Albert Lee, Chris Helme (Seahorses), Mark Morris (Bluetones), Micky P Kerr (BGT), kiki Deville (The Voice), Remi Harris and loads more. Be sure to take a look at our events tab above to see what we have going on.

As we are quite intimate, table bookings are available, and recommended for larger groups, although not essential!
