David John Jaggs

We're very pleased to be welcoming David John Jaggs back to The Mess Room in May. David has a soaring voice and choppy guitar style, and approaches every gig with high quantities of two-footed gusto. Whether flying solo, or at the helm of his own über talented flagship supergroup, The Ragamuffins, as the frontman of the truly fabulous Northern Soul Train, David is one musician you won't forget!

The Ragamuffins have graced grand stages in Austria, Italy, Germany, France and Canada as well as everywhere you could imagine within the UK during their 12 year existence and are already off on jaunts to the USA and Norway in 2023.

Highlights from previous years include playing Glastonbury for the first time with The Ragamuffins and opening for The Fratellis at Rochdale Feel Good Festival to over 3000 people with Northern Soultrain. David has played almost literally everywhere on his own though; from Toxteth to Toronto, from Poynton to Paris, from Barnoldswick to Berlin and everywhere in between and on stages alongside some genuine pop royalty along the way.
